Kiss Kiss Events — Terms & Conditions

By booking Kiss Kiss Events, you agree to the following terms regarding floral, styling, and hire services.

1. Booking & Payment

  • Retainer: 25% of your total quote is required to secure your date. Non-refundable.

  • Final Payment: Remaining balance due 60 days before the event. Services may be withheld if unpaid.

  • Quote Validity: Quotes are valid for 14 days. After this, pricing may change due to seasonal availability or supplier costs.

  • Additional Charges: Changes, additions, or last-minute revisions may incur extra fees. Excessive communications or revisions (more than 3 emails or 2 calls per week beyond included consultation & revision) may also incur charges.

  • Adverse Weather & Safety: Extreme conditions may require additional costs for safe delivery, installation, or removal.

2. Peak Period Pricing

Premium dates may incur higher fees due to demand and logistics:

  • Valentine’s Day: 2 weeks before, 2 weeks after, including Feb 14

  • Mother’s Day: 2 weeks before, 2 weeks after

  • Christmas: 2 weeks before, 2 weeks after

  • New Year’s Eve: 2 weeks before, 2 weeks after
    Additional labour and delivery fees may apply.

3. Scope of Services

Services include:

  • Floral design, arrangements, and styling

  • Event installations

  • Hire items (if applicable)

  • Delivery, installation, and bump-out

Moodboards and reference images are design guides only and may vary due to seasonal availability. The Proposal forms part of this agreement.

4. Exclusivity

Kiss Kiss Events is the exclusive florist and stylist unless agreed otherwise in writing.

5. Consultations & Revisions

  • Booking includes one consultation and one revision round.

  • Additional changes or consultations may incur fees.

  • Client timelines: Feedback and approvals must be provided promptly to avoid delays or extra charges.

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate event details, timelines, and venue access

  • Obtain necessary approvals and permissions

  • Nominate an on-site contact for the event

  • Ensure safe handling of flowers and hire items after delivery

  • Provide an adverse weather plan if required

  • Inform us of guest allergies or sensitivities

Kiss Kiss Events is not responsible for delays, damage, or costs due to incomplete information, venue limitations, or third-party interference.

7. Flower & Styling Responsibility

  • We guarantee flowers and arrangements until delivery or installation.

  • After this, care and responsibility transfer to the Client.

  • We are not responsible for damage from guests, venue staff, weather, or mishandling.

  • On-the-day adjustments may be required for safety, venue compliance, or access limitations.

8. Hire Items

  • All hire items remain our property and must be collected by our team.

  • Clients or guests may not move, alter, or dismantle hire items or large installations.

  • Cleaning fees apply if items are returned dirty; replacement costs apply for loss or damage beyond fair wear and tear.

  • Risk transfers to the Client once items are installed.

9. Cancellations & Changes

  • Retainer is non-refundable.

  • Cancellation after materials are ordered may incur full costs.

  • Date changes due to uncontrollable events (e.g., pandemics, government restrictions) may be offered at our discretion, subject to availability, revised pricing, and administrative costs.

10. Intellectual Property & Marketing

  • All designs, proposals, and styling concepts remain our intellectual property.

  • You may not replicate or distribute our work without written consent.

  • We may photograph your event for marketing purposes; crediting Kiss Kiss Events is appreciated.

11. Liability & Insurance

  • We hold current Public Liability Insurance.

  • Liability is limited to total payments made.

  • Not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, venue restrictions, weather, or actions of third parties.

  • Clients agree to indemnify Kiss Kiss Events for claims arising from guests, venue staff, or other third parties outside our control.

12. Governing Law & Privacy

  • This agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

  • Personal information is used solely to provide services and will not be shared except as required by law.

Booking via this website or confirming your event date does not constitute a legally binding agreement. A signed Wedding & Event Floral, Styling & Hire Agreement is required to confirm your booking and secure your event date.

This contract includes full terms, payment obligations, and responsibilities for both parties. Your date will only be held once the retainer has been received and the signed agreement is returned.
